Traffic Control Personnel

**POSITION OVERVIEW**

BCW Traffic Management Ltd. is a leading traffic control company in BC looking for experienced Traffic Control Personnel (TCP) in **the Salmon Arm area**, who will work closely with management team in the pursuit of successful execution of projects and growth opportunities. This position reports to the Operations Manager of BCW Traffic Management Ltd.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide traffic control services to client’s workers on site.
- Verify and meet safety expectations. Comply with all safety procedures to keep yourself, teammates, and the public safe.
- Assist lane technicians where needed on site.
- Correct improper and unsafe work activities and conditions.
- Identify any new workplace hazards and taking steps to ensure everyone stays safe.
- Liaise with clients and ensure a healthy open working relationship is developed and maintained.
- Work with management to ensure safety, operational and financial targets are exceeded.
- Uphold and improve company safety program and performance.

**Qualifications**
- Arrive on time for work.
- Be willing to work with others. Great communication skills
- Participate in the daily toolbox meeting.
- Be always professional.
- Represent BCW traffic management and perform your job to best of your ability.
- Have a valid Driver's license and personal vehicle is a huge asset. As the company grows, there is possibility to be promoted to become a LCT.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- TCP certificate required
- Must have ability to multi-task and use sound judgment to prioritize activities.
- Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be a self-starter and able to excel with limited supervision.
- Out of the box thinker who is creative in problem solving to meet client needs.
