The Team Lead plays an integral role maintaining the highest level of quality, consistent service standards and accuracy. Main responsibilities are the production of sandwiches and various other ready to eat food items. Good attention to detail and ability to follow product production guide lines with highest level of quality and supervising the production team and enlist in a What Ever It Takes to ensure customer satisfaction is met at all times.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinating and monitoring staff duties for their designated station
- Assisting Production Manager with communication of daily project objectives and production goals
- Maintaining direct and effective communication with Production Manager(s) to ensure production targets are met daily.
- Overseeing the production of each product and ensuring all specifications are followed.
- Conducting regular timeline (production efficiency) checks on all stations
- Working with the shift QA Tech to ensure all food safety policies/procedures are always met.
- Working with the shift QA Tech to conduct regular line sampling of products to ensure specification accuracy.
- Working with the shift QA Tech to ensure all food safety and production documentation is completed accurately and supporting documentation is submitted daily to the Production Manager(s) and QA Supervisor
- Ensuring all workstations are clean, organized, and sanitary throughout production.
- Ensuring all workstations are safe for all workers throughout the assembly area and staff complies with all health and safety guidelines and SOPs.
- Assisting with final checks prior to all deliveries ensuring order accuracy
- Monitoring required daily inventory and communicating shortages to Production Manager(s) immediately.
- Reporting possible inventory shortages to Production Manager(s) immediately
- Mentoring and coaching new staff creating a positive work experience
- Monitoring prep production and ensuring all prep is completed as per specifications for next day production.
- Assisting in maintaining team efficiency by demonstrating leadership qualities
- Reporting to the Production Manager(s) and assisting in resolving potential situations that could negatively affect production, worker safety, food safety, or product quality.
- Ensuring that all workstations in the Assembly area is closed down properly at the end of the shift, as outlined by SHFG food safety policy and relevant SOPs.
- Ensuring Freezer and Cooler are maintained in an organized, clean state throughout the shift.
- Must be able to work in a temperature-controlled environment (0-6° Celsius) 0-4
- Must be available to work rotating shifts including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
- Participate in and contribute to Management and Team Leader meetings.

**Physical Requirements**
- Able to work a flexible work schedule, including days, evenings, midnights, weekends, and holidays.
- Performing physical activities that require use of arms, legs and moving the whole body, such as lifting, walking, stooping, bending, pulling/pushing, handling of materials.
- Handling of product in temperature controlled environment.
- Prolonged periods of standing may be required.

**Salary**: $22.50 per hour
