We are looking for a **Part-time Building Manager Assistant** for a residential strata corporation located in Richmond.This team member plays an important role in the day-to-day operations of the property ensuring an excellent living experience for its resident including:
**Schedule**:
12 hours per week, day shifts

**Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 7 am to 11 am**

**Compensation**:

- ** $24 per hour**

**Qualifications**:

- A friendly, positive, customer-centric self-starter who is eager to solve a problem for the Client
- Proactive and hands-on approach to janitorial and building maintenance responsibilities.
- Previous experience as a janitor, trade person, or apartment concierge is an asset.

**Job Duties**:

- Perform general janitorial duties including keeping the garbage room and main lobby clean and tidy, vacuuming carpets on residential floors, and conducting a property litter patrol.
- Perform maintenance duties and minor repairs as needed. [i.e. change burnt-out lights, pressure wash exterior common areas, snow removal, etc.].
- Identify maintenance issues as they arise and act to rectify if possible or report them to the management promptly.
- Provide access to the relevant building trades
- Respond to owners' and tenant’s queries, assist or refer to appropriate

**Minimal Requirements / Working Environment**
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Legally able to work in Canada for at least one year from the moment of hiring
- Constant walking and monitoring of building equipment and physical structure
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to climb a ladder up to 10 feet
- Must be able to climb building stairs up and down
- Requires writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability, and visual accuracy
- Must be able to work at least 8-hour shifts with regular statutory breaks.
- Lifting, pulling, and managing equipment and tools.
- Working in all weather and must be prepared for both extreme heat and cold.
- They must ensure that all activities are completed safely and efficiently.
- Fluency in English both verbal and written
- Grade 12 - post-secondary education an asset
