Aveiro Bakery is a small, family oriented and BUSY bakery located in North Oakville (2530 Sixth Line). We produce and sell a wide variety of pastries/desserts, breads and other baked goods, deli meats and cheeses, sandwiches, and coffees. Our hours of operation are from 7am to 7pm Tuesday through Friday, 7am to 5pm on Saturdays, and 7am to 4pm on Sundays. We are closed on Mondays.

We are currently looking for a dedicated, loyal, hardworking Storefront Supervisor to join our team.

This position is full time and you must have weekend flexibility. We are looking for a supervisor who is available during the morning, the afternoon, and/or just the evening/closing.

Responsibilities/Duties Include:

- Responsible for cash handling and balancing cash register daily
- Checking consistently on the quality of our products if they are up to standard.
- Ensuring our team is consistently replenishing and facing products in our storefront.
- Keeping our space clean, tidy and safe.
- Cultivating a positive environment using communication effectively.
- Filling pastries or requesting the back of the house staff to fill any voids in our pastry case.
- Organizing our front of the house staff to take all their breaks and put in a 20 minute period of dishwashing (may include you to wash them as well showing an energy of camaraderie and respect).
- Reporting any lates to our administration. Guiding and directing our team to follow our guidelines and procedures utilizing our policy handbook.
- Check any deliveries coming in. Ensuring we have received all stock against invoice received.
- Weekly orders of deli and dairy and custom cookies.
- Ensuring our merchandise and groceries are faced and looking great.
- Oversight of our Mid-Day Checklist and ensuring employees are -completing what is asked.
- Collecting any feedback (good or bad) from clients and fellow employees and being sure management is addressing any concerns expressed.
- Condense the tip jar daily to help organize tip outs
- Daily shift assignments (bathroom duty, garbage duty and sweeping duty), as well as overall delegation of storefront duties checklists

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
