THE CAREER OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking experienced Manager In Training to join our market located in Ottawa.

Our Manager In Training support the operations of our stores and are passionate about creating a unique, customer-focused environment.

As a Manager In Training, you’ll support the Store Manager in all aspects of our retail store.

From hiring & training knowledgeable associates to executing on strategic merchandising initiatives, you’ll set the standard of success within our stores.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities include the following:

- Achieve store sales budgets through execution of company standards, policies and procedures while exceeding customers' expectations through service and connections at every opportunity.
- Provides ongoing selling skills coaching and development based on each team member's individual strengths and weaknesses to achieve their personal sales goals.
- Establishes appropriate action plans to improve each individual's performance and productivity
- Ensures that customer loyalty is built and maintained by providing the ultimate shopping experience and by resolving customer issues or complaints in a timely and positive manner.
- Demonstrates the ability to lead by example in sales and customer service.
- With a heavy emphasis on store presentation, you will support flawless execution. Maintaining brand integrity through visual merchandising.
- Meet overall Retail Initiatives; drive sales and traffic targets, execute strategic merchandising initiatives and set standards of success within our retail store.
- Fostering the development of self and others by providing an environment for enhanced performance and professional growth.
- Leading and developing a team to achieve organizational objectives and results. Fosters the culture of teamwork through ownership and accountability.

WHAT YOU BRING:

- 2+ years of retail experience as manager.
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit, be an effective problem solver and lead change.
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate a team to reach its sales goals.
- Solid understanding of retail concepts.
- Extremely personable with exceptional customer service orientation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Sound judgment and strong decision-making skills.
- Good knowledge of effective merchandise presentation.
- Flexible in adapting to changing business needs and sales strategies.
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Ability to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanor.
- Strong interpersonal skills - collaborative, a team player.

- Proven ability to interact with individuals from all levels within the organization.
