We are a busy landscape supply yard and we're looking for customer service/sales associates to learn the business and grow with our team. Full time positions available. No evening or Sunday work. Must be customer focused, positive attitude, and willing to learn.

The role includes answering phones, showing and prompting products to customers explaining features and benefits of each. Calculating quotes based on customer needs, using POS system and Moneris machines to process sales, keeping the facility clean and tidy.

**Customer Service Specialist** **Role**:This position plays an important role in our sales and customer service reputation. Our Customer Service Specialists collaborate well with their Branch team to ensure that customers have a seamlessly professional purchase and service experience. Our Customer Service Specialists take pride in the accuracy of orders, the careful selection of products and clear communication between the customer and the logistics team.

**The Customer Service Specialist** **Responsibilities**:

- Greeting showroom customers in a professional, welcoming and confident manner
- Matching customer needs and pricing to the right product and availability
- Ensure that phone, in-person & online customers are looked after promptly and accurately
- Ensure the showroom and customer-accessed areas are clean and well presented
- Process orders and payments with accuracy, speed and clarity for the logistics team
- Follow through proactively whenever exceptions to the established best practices process occur

- High customer satisfaction, loyal relationships and word of mouth referrals
- An absence of ‘dropped balls’ or miscommunications on order details / delivery / completion
- Exceeding the weekly / monthly sales targets due to ‘upsells’ of product and/or additional orders
- BisTrack/internal processes are followed ensuring access to all details as required by the team
- Fast, efficient and effective order and payment processing at the front counter

**The Qualifications**:

- Excellent communication skills (English).
- Customer service / front counter / POS experience - min 2 years
- Proven trustworthy with cash float and handling / recording customer payments accurately
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, online platforms etc)
- Working knowledge of brick and landscape stone products / installation would be an asset
- High School Diploma or Post Secondary Education
