Join Our Security Team as a Security Guard at **Peel Regional Police Site**
Synergy Protection Group Inc is seeking a dedicated and reliable Static Security Guard, SOC and Mobile Guard to join our team at our esteemed site at Peel Region Police property. As a security professional at our organization, you'll play a crucial role in upholding the safety and security of our officers, staff, and visitors in Mississauga, Ontario.
**Job Title**: Security Guard
**Location**: Peel Regional Police Site, Mississauga
**Employment Type**: Full-Time Rotation
**Shift**: Day/Night/Weekend
**Pay Rate**: $18.50 - 20.00$/hr
**Job Duties**:
- Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
- Patrolling and monitoring designated areas
- Interacting with the public with a customer service approach to security
- Monitor and control access at defined facility and property entry control points and assigned security posts
- Escalating and assisting law enforcement as required
- Completing incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents
**Requirements**:
- A valid Ontario security license
- Minimum 3 years of security experience is required
- Valid driving G license required
- Completion of post-secondary studies in Law & security/police foundations diploma program is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Can stay alert at all times
- Ability to respond well to emergency situations
