SSR Mining - Seabee Gold Operation is hiring for a Carpenter.

About Your New Role:
Reporting to the Supervisor, Site Services, the Carpenter, will be responsible for construction projects on site, including the construction and renovation of onsite buildings.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory of construction supplies, cement, and tools.- Erect new buildings and perform maintenance and renovations on existing buildings.- Complete projects within the allotted time frame.- Maintain a clean and safe work area.- Ensure all work is done in a safe and efficient manner.- Operate light equipment on site (Hiab & Forklift).- Perform other duties as required.

Your Knowledge and Skills:
- Able to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of staff, including technical, professional, and management- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.- Positive and proactive attitude towards safety.

Your Education and Experience:
- Journeyperson license in carpentry.- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience.- Completed Grade 12 or equivalent.

About Our Working Conditions:
This position has a schedule of two (2) weeks on, two (2) weeks off at our remote camp in northern Saskatchewan, working 11-hour days with possibility of unscheduled overtime required on occasion. You will be required to fly in fly out of the site on designated days from a pick-up point in either Saskatoon, Prince Albert or La Ronge.
