**Job description**

Jong Young Flower Market is a store operated by the most experienced florists in the industry. In this position, you will have the chance to perform in a fast-paced environment with friendly staff. We are seeking a talented and creative Florist to join our team. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented Florist who is passionate about floral design.

Responsibilities, duties, and traits we are looking for:

- A responsible individual who can keep up in a fast-paced environment and work with a positive attitude
- Take customer orders
- Be on cash
- Prepare arrangements to customers' specifications
- Arrange flowers using floral foam and other materials
- Package orders for delivery
- Required to work overtime if needed (Holidays)
- Someone who has lots of experience in designing flowers
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers
- Create and arrange floral designs for various occasions, such as weddings, funerals, and special events
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate floral arrangements and provide recommendations based on their preferences and budget
- Process customer orders and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain inventory of floral supplies and ensure stock levels are sufficient
- Previous experience working as a florist
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and floral arrangements
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders and deadlines
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering suggestions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain inventory of fresh flowers, plants, and floral supplies
- Process payments using a POS system and handle cash transactions
- Keep the store clean and organized
- Assist with e-commerce orders and online sales
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms for online sales is desirable

Please note that proficiency in English is required for this position.

**Salary**: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

- 5 days a week (4 weekdays and 1 weekend day)

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Florist: 3 years (preferred)

Work Location: In person

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
