**Responsibilities & Qualifications**:
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sales Agent’s primary responsibility is to promote and sell whale watching and marine wildlife tours.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

- Check in and departure of tours
- Promotion and sales of tours and packages (must be knowledgeable about tour departure times, vessel types, and pricing)
- Accurately and efficiently manage cash and credit card transactions

**REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE**:

- Proven ability to excel in a sales environment
- Ability to engage and persuade people in a positive, non-demanding style
- Passion to exceed service expectations
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Previous Tourism experience preferred
- Professional demeanour
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills

**PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS**:

- Customer oriented, courteous and tactful
- Out-going team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to handle difficult guest service issues in a calm and professional manner

SHIFTS:

- Must be available to work Saturday and Sundays
- Mornings, afternoon or evenings.
