In this pivotal role, you'll lead the newly formed Major Infrastructure Projects Branch, which integrates planning, design/engineering, and delivery with a Strategy and Integration Office. Our branch is at the forefront of delivering some of the highest-profile and innovative transportation projects in the Ontario, including Highway 413 and the Bradford Bypass.

**You will contribute to the achievement of team goals by**:
- Leading, motivating, and supporting a multidisciplinary team through high-pressure situations, ensuring effective delivery of highway projects.
- Managing the development of conceptual and preliminary designs, ensuring they align with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
- Planning and setting objectives, priorities, and operational policies for multiple projects.
- Assessing the engineering, financial, economic, legal, environmental, and management implications of large-scale projects.
- Providing expert advice and recommendations to executive leadership, ensuring the successful delivery of ministry policies and programs.
- Identifying and recommending new or improved technologies, systems, and materials for major projects, while managing the risks associated with rapidly evolving developments and technology.
- Navigating the political landscape and managing relationships with municipalities and other stakeholders.
How do I qualify?
Mandatory
- Must be licensed with the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).
