Denture Technician

**Hours**: Monday - Friday - Day hours - an average of 24hrs/week (2-3 days/week)

**Salary**: $25.00- $30.00 per hour

We are a growing established Denture Practice who has a reputation for excellent Customer Service and Detailed, Quality Denture Craftmanship. The team at Dundas Denture Clinic is seeking to add to our busy office a **skilled Lab Denture Technician** who is friendly, reliable, and is detailed in their work.

**Some of your Responsibilities are but not limited to Fabricate dentures all aspects including**:

- Prepare denture set-up and wax-up
- Process dentures
- Trim and Polish dentures
- Re-line and re-base dentures
- Collaborate with denturist to ensure accurate specifications for prosthetics
- Model pouring
- Bite Blocks
- Plaster work
- Embrace and adapt to the integration of digital technology
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following strict infection control protocols
- Other duties as assigned

**Key Requirements**:

- Previous 1 year Denture Technician experience is a definite asset
- Must pay attention to detail
- Must be able to organize workflow efficiently and able to work under pressure
- Proven ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Have strong knowledge and understanding of Dental terminology, anatomy and overall morphology
- Knowledge and understanding of Implants and procedures an asset but not required
- Strong communication skills are a plus

**Education**:

- Dental Technology Certification or 1+ years of on-the-job training under the supervision of a registered dental technologist or technician
