Lead Dental Assistant

**Responsibilities**:
Team Leadership: Take charge of leading and coordinating the dental team, including dental assistants, hygienists, and other support staff. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, ensuring seamless coordination and effective communication among team members.

Patient Care: Provide excellent chairside assistance to dentists during various dental procedures. Educate patients about proper oral hygiene practices and post-operative care. Ensure that patient comfort and safety are prioritized at all times.

Orthodontics and Implant Surgery: Utilize your experience in orthodontics and implant surgery to support the dental team in these specialized procedures. Assist with treatment planning, preparation, and post-operative care for patients undergoing orthodontic treatments and dental implant placements.

Sterilization and Equipment Maintenance: Oversee and maintain strict infection control protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. Take responsibility for the maintenance and proper functioning of dental equipment and instruments.

Training and Development: Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of dental assistants. Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental technology and procedures, sharing relevant information with the team.

Administrative Tasks: Assist with scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating laboratory services as necessary. Ensure accurate documentation of treatments, procedures, and patient information.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Dental Assistant, with demonstrated experience in orthodontics and implant surgery. Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly desirable.
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficient in dental software and computer skills.
- Current CPR certification.
- Must be able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
