GFL Environmental is looking for a Scalehouse Administrator to join the growing team in Dorchester, ON Reporting to the Site Manager, he/she is responsible for controlling and recording all traffic that enters GFL property and entering / recording data appropriately. He/she is responsible for appropriately logging all traffic data into separate databases for efficient and proper tracking of all inbound and outbound soils.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Control truck traffic entering GFL Environmental Inc. property.
Weigh all trucks as per instructed.
Answer all incoming telephone calls.
Deal with fellow staff members and sub contractors and any other visitors in a positive and respectful manner
Other duties as assigned by Site Manager.

**Knowledge, Skills & Competencies**:
Knowledge of soil processing procedures and job site traffic flows.
Knowledge of data tracking systems.
Knowledge of workplace safety requirements.
Analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to read and write to maintain daily records.
Effective communication skills.
Stress management skills.
Time management skills.
High school education required at a minimum.
Excellent communication and administrative skills
Ability to work independently and within a team dynamic.
Ability to multitask.
Proven ability to take initiative, time management skills, and display professionalism.
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.

**Working Conditions**:
Must be prepared for both extreme heat and cold. Must ensure that all activities are completed in a safe and efficient way.

Must be able to work independently and is expected to maintain a schedule of work. He/she plays a crucial role in the everyday operation of the facility.

Work a standard schedule of Monday to Friday 6:45am to 5:00pm. However, occasional Saturdays and working late will be required as needed.
