Journeyman Carpenter

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Carpenter to join our team. As a Journeyperson Carpenter, you will be responsible for various carpentry tasks, including building, restoring, and repairing structures. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

**Duties**:

- Construct and install structures and fixtures based on blueprints and specifications
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials (wood, drywall, concrete, etc.) according to project requirements
- Install flooring, including hardwood, laminate, and tile
- Perform concrete forming and pouring for foundations and other structures
- Repair or replace damaged or worn-out structures or fixtures
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for construction tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Skills**:

- Strong carpentry skills with the ability to build, restore, and repair structures
- Mechanical knowledge to operate power tools and equipment effectively
- Proficient in blueprint reading to understand project requirements
- Experience in concrete forming and pouring for foundations and structures
- Knowledge of flooring installation techniques for various materials
- Familiarity with masonry work for bricklaying or stone installation
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators or forklifts
- Competency in drywall installation and finishing techniques

**Requirements**:

- Journeyman/Journeywoman Carpenter certification or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry or related field
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Concrete experience preferred

Pay: $25.70-$40.69 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
