Urethane Casting Technician

We are looking for a detail oriented Urethane Casting Technician with knowledge of and experience with Hot Cast Urethanes to join our team.

As the Urethane Casting Technician, you will be responsible for manufacturing high quality urethane parts that exceed customer expectations.

**WHAT YOU WOULD DO**
- Examine molds, jigs and fixtures before casting to ensure they are assembled properly and ready to cast.
- Quickly and efficiently de-mold and trim cast parts.
- Ensure all parts meet the required standards.
- Clean and re-assemble molds as required.
- Produce product as per production procedures and as instructed.
- Perform all work to ensure final product meets quality standards.
- Accurately record time on daily time sheets.
- Maintain and monitor safety equipment and hand-tools, ensure that proper PPE is being used at all appropriate times.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization of the shop and work spaces.
- Use a variety of tools and machines as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- At least 1-year experience in related field preferred
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Must be willing to learn
- Attention to detail
- Adaptive skills and drive
- Solid mathematical skills
- Organized
- Problem solver
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials on occasion.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB T6E 5P3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
