**Cabinet Maker **(NOC 7272)

The cabinet maker will be responsible for:

- Inspecting and sub-assembling materials and articles to specified standards.
- Reading and understanding blueprints or work order specifications, whether written, illustrated, or oral, to determine layout and installation procedures.
- Trimming joints and fitting parts and subassemblies together to form a complete unit using glue and clamps and reinforcing joints using nails, screws, or other fasteners
- Operating woodworking machines and using hand tools to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
- Installing, repairing, and servicing prefabricated cabinetry, cupboards, and vanities using hand and power tools.
- Measuring and marking guidelines to be used for installations.
- Ensuring that the work is completed to the standard set by the customer, project manager, or contractor.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- 2 years of experience in cabinet making.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Trade Certification
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
- Permanent Residency of Canada

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
