Woodworking Machinist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Woodworker to join our team. As a Woodworker, you will be responsible for crafting and creating various wooden products using a variety of tools and techniques. This is a hands-on role that requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of woodworking principles.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Operate woodworking machinery and power tools such as saws, sanders, drills, and lathes
- Cut, shape, and assemble wood pieces according to specifications
- Sand and finish completed products to ensure smooth surfaces
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Skills**:

- Proficient in woodworking techniques including cutting, shaping, and assembling wood pieces
- Knowledge of various woodworking tools and machinery
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with programming CNC machines (Fanuc) is a plus
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting machinery issues
- Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software is preferred
- Ability to weld or fabricate metal components is a plus

We offer competitive pay based on experience.

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Wood machinist: 1 year (preferred)
- Woodworking: 1 year (preferred)
