**Responsibilities includes but are not limited to**:

- Manage projects from initial design concept through to production ensuring project objectives are met on time
- Support business development by working with internal and external teams to develop and specify the product
- Coordinate completion of product design that meets customer requirements, and internal best practices
- Provide customer support through knowledge of product and process
- Communicate project and task status to management and critical project stakeholders, and escalate concerns when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate product development records, including creating and supporting APQP documentation
- Work in conjunction with the project team to develop the PPAP documentation
- Practice effective team skills by sharing learned knowledge with the group
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Travel as required to interface with customer engineering and manufacturing
- Monitor program progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues or risks that may impact program success.
- Collect and analyze data to measure program performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Create and maintain program documentation,

**QUALITY**
- Responsible to ensure that all new moulds and secondary tooling meets established quality requirements.
- Supervise and execute submission procedures per customer requirements. This includes part layouts, secondary tooling studies, lab analysis, etc.
- Execute and assist with QC troubleshooting and problem solving in conjunction with Quality Control and Production departments for persistent quality problems.
- Ensure that all tooling and equipment is available to meet scheduled customer and production requirements.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- advise the production supervisory group on the design, repair, delivery, etc. status of new tooling and/or equipment.
- provide input to improve production efficiencies and quality.
- Prepare quotations for new prototype / production parts that include tooling and final product selling price.
- Maintain engineering files on parts.
- Maintain program budget records.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Engineering Degree is a must
- Manufacturing knowledge
- Prior automotive experience including APQP and PPAP
- Program Management Skills
- Prior experience with IATF
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Ability to travel to different location for assignments.
