**Position: Warranty Manager**
**Reports to: Construction Manager**
**Status: Part-Time - 16-24 Hours/week**
**Salary: $30-$32/hour depending on experience**

**Responsibilities**
- Process warranty claims and assist homeowners through the entire claims process
- Conduct pre-home delivery warranty walkthroughs with new homeowners
- Review and investigate warranty submissions, accept or reject claims by assessing warranty coverage limits, address any issues and settle disputes relating to the warranty process
- Act as liaison between homeowners and subcontractors to schedule service and follow-up, collect data from technicians and track materials
- Review and understand project systems to be able to perform demonstrations or diagnose problems;
- Identify and Report to Construction Manager any potential home construction defects and future design improvements
- Make suggestions to provide customer satisfaction and enhance customer experience
- Produce status reports on progress and outstanding items lists
- Ensure all warranty work is completed in accordance with the established quality standards, deadlines and procedures
- Rectify minor deficiencies when possible
- Assist with HFHVIN sub-trade warranty requirements
- Assist with construction site inspections and documentation during peak times
- All other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
- Minimum five years experience in the residential construction industry
- A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a Quality Control position is preferred
- Possession of a Building Inspection Certification is an asset
- General knowledge of residential and multi-family building industry, knowledge of contractor codes, ability to explain warranty coverage clearly and to use general building tools/equipment
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments
- Organizational skills to track multiple warranty claims using a computerized tracking program and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people
- Ability to diagnose construction issues and find resolution
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients
- Strong team player
- Willingness to travel as required
- Good presentation skills and verbal/written communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office Suite of products;
- Ability to safely navigate an active multi-family, multi-story construction site through all phases of construction
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
