Courtice, Canada Alpa Pre-Engineered Panels Systems Inc. Full time

Alpa Pre-Engineered Panel Systems Inc., a part of the Alpa Lumber Group, is a leading provider of pre-engineered walls and floors to GTA home builders. We work with a team of designers, engineers, and production staff to help create the communities we live in. We are currently looking for a **Project Supervisor** to add to our team in our **Courtice** location.

The Project Supervisor would be responsible for coordinating between job sites, the office and the plant to ensure projects are completed accurately while maintaining quality. The incumbent will be able to respond to and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner using their analytical skills and construction experience.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Review project plans and identify errors that would affect production and make necessary recommendations;
- Respond to inquiries regarding quality and drawing issues;
- Investigate and resolve design or engineering issues with technical staff if required;
- Mentor production designers; answering questions and assisting with design recommendations;
- Assist and coach designers on detailing issues or errors;
- Liaise with Plant Managers to ensure quality and consistency of products;
- Communicate and liaise with outside vendors, sites and builders;
- Maintain logs and reports of all reported issues;
- Attend site meetings as required;
- Other duties as assigned.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- 5+ years’ experience in construction industry, specifically with new construction home builds;
- Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology or Construction Technology diploma is an asset;
- Familiarity with building codes within Ontario;
- Panel experience is an asset;
- Able to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Advanced computer skills;
- Experience with MiTek is an asset.
