Boutique grooming shop in the heart of Waterdown village is looking for a full time groomer. Underdog & Co. is a one-on-one grooming shop with a primary focus on pets’ experiences. We are a quality over quantity grooming shop. The shop is an inclusive space, with zero tolerance for racism, homophobia, transphobia or any sort of bigotry. We are not looking for a power groomer, rather, someone who wants to take the time to hone their craft while making the experience and happiness of the pets in their care their number one priority.

We provide high quality shampoos, electric table, tool chest, cleaning supplies, and any necessary products.

DUTIES
- Groom pets according to specific breed standards and customer preferences
- Bathe, brush, and trim pets' fur to maintain their appearance and hygiene
- Clean and maintain grooming tools and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing pet owners' needs and concerns
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process
- Handle and restrain pets as necessary for grooming procedures

SKILLS
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners
- Ability to lift heavy animals or assist with lifting when necessary
- Knowledge of different grooming techniques for various breeds of dogs and cats
- Attention to detail to ensure precision in grooming tasks
- Patience and compassion when working with animals that may be anxious or uncooperative
- have a minimum of three years of professional dog grooming experience.

- be comfortable working alone, but also in a team environment.

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
