**Position Title: Indigemind Guide**

**Department**: Family Development and Food Security

**Hours**: 35 hours per week

**Hourly wage**: $26.00 - $28.00/hr

Working from an Indigenous Worldview and as part of the Youth Drop-In Division of the Youth and Community Leadership Team, the Indigemind Guide will support youth in wholistic, culturally-appropriate leadership skills development and self-advocacy, land-based cultural learning, wellness, and climate-focused leadership development both on and off-site at the VNFC.

This position will maintain and support a caseload of Indigenous children and their families, caregivers, community programs, and childcare settings while building trusting relationships with families and communities.

Our team includes people of all Indigenous identities; some who are close to their communities and others who are on a path to learn more about their heritage. In recognition of the importance of a lived understanding of Indigenous communities, history, values and culture, preference is given to Indigenous applicants. **Please self-identify in your cover letter.**
