Formworker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Formworker to join our construction team. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for building and setting up forms for concrete structures. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to specifications
- Set up forms for pouring concrete, ensuring they are properly aligned and secured
- Install reinforcing bars and mesh as required
- Pour, level, and smooth concrete using various tools and techniques
- Remove forms after concrete has set and clean up work area
- Inspect forms for defects or damage and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans accurately
- Proficient in using hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, etc.
- Excellent mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail to ensure precise formwork setup
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Pay: $18.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
