The Township of North Huron Public Works Department is recruiting part-time employees to fill the role of Crossing Guard. This position will report to the Director of Public Works.

This position will be responsible for ensuring the safety of children as they cross the road within our Community School Safety Zones. Shifts will be Monday to Friday, 8:00am-9:00am and 3:00pm-4:00pm, for a total of ten (10) hours per week. Duration of work will coincide with the current academic year.

The hourly rate for this position is $15.50-$17.19/hour.

As a condition of employment, this position will require a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check to be submitted prior to beginning employment.
