B620 Inspector/tester

Smith Tank & Trailer Repair Ltd. is a Transport Canada B620 certified facility for the inspection of Highway Tanks. We have operated from our Surrey facility (25-0283) for over 26 years and have recently opened our Nanaimo facility (25-5038).

We are looking for a B620 inspector with a minimum of 2 years experience.

The following is required: training certificate under CSA B620:20 as an inspector for any category (specification) of highway tank.

Asset knowledge, experience, qualifications:

- Knowledge of IBC testing requirements under GCSB 43.146
- Mechanical background
- Trailer mechanics

Duties will include inspection & testing (V,I,K,P,UC,L,T) of TC406/TC407/TC331 and other specifications, as required. We will train you to tank specifications you do not have a training certification for.

Expected start date: 2-3 week notice period.

Pay: $35.00-$46.25 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
