Gas Fitter

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of systems and components.
- Fabricate, assemble, and install HVAC systems, ensuring all components are plumbed correctly.
- Maintain and repair existing systems, performing troubleshooting as necessary.
- Utilize welding techniques to join metal parts securely.
- Operate tools such as threaders.
- Rig components safely for installation, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining quality standards.
- Carry a valid G2 fitters licence.

**Skills**
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex schematics.
- Experience in HVAC installation and maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to plumb systems accurately for optimal performance.
- Familiarity with fabrication processes and tools.
- Competence in using measuring instruments like calipers for precise work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.

Pay: Up to $45.49 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
