Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sterilization Assistant to join our team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our team and ensuring the smooth operation of our sterilization centre.

**Responsibilities**:

- Decontaminate, disinfect and sterilize instruments in accordance with Manitoba Dental Association IPC guidelines.
- Must work in compliance with WHMIS and wear PPE provided.
- Inspect instruments to ensure proper cleaning has taken place, reprocessing instruments if they do not pass.
- Label packages after processing using Steri-Traces automated label system.
- Daily testing of all sterilization equipment to ensure proper function.
- Document and maintain records of monitors and cycles.
- Returning all sterilized instruments into proper storage.
- Routine maintenance of sterilization equipment and instruments.
- Report to the Infection Control Coordinator.

Other duties as assigned.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience an asset but not required. Training will be provided.
- Attention to detail is a MUST
