**The Role**
As the Manager, Digital and Learning Design (P&T), you are an integral part of the development and implementation of our learning content, including our programming initiatives and training programs. Your role is part instructional design, part project managing, and part ensuring we have “smooth systems” in place. You get excited when we hit our departmental goals, especially when they involve learner data. While working with multiple departments, you strive to create a successful learning experience for all.
**Your Responsibilities**
- Oversee our Learning Management System (LMS) and bring it to the next level by expanding the use of our current platform (Absorb) and being up-to-date on upcoming trends.
- Analyze the LMS data to ensure efficiency and user management are optimal, and update processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Design, build, evaluate, and continuously improve our asynchronous e-learning content and printed programming content, with the support of our Specialist, Design, and Learning Coordinator.
- Support the development and implementation of new programming initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with departments, such as Operations, People & Culture, and Customer Care, to improve training processes, and programming needs.
- Work with Senior Manager, Programs & Training, to prepare proposals for training changes and new initiatives based on observations and employee feedback.
- Willing and able to attend our camps and lessons to have a comprehensive understanding of our programming.
- Assist with the facilitation, and organization of our in-person training initiatives, as needed.
- Stay updated on program knowledge and informed of changes in company policies.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in Instructional Design, Human Resources, Sports Recreation, Education, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Leadership experience and proven strong written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience overseeing an LMS. Preference if the experience is with using Absorb
- Experience in authoring e-learning courses, and using an authoring tool, such as Articulate Rise and/or Storyline
- Understands adult learning principles, instructional design principles, and/or various learning approaches
- Experience working in recreation and/or children’s programming is an asset
- Must have a valid driver’s license and passport; you’re willing to travel to Pedalheads locations across North America, as needed
