As the
**Program Manager** for Kal Tire’s commercial business, you are responsible for facilitating and enabling our store leadership teams to deliver on Kal Tire’s strategic business objectives. The
** Program Manager **works closely with executives and senior business leaders to identify and capture business needs, validate business models, and define implementation strategies. The
**P**

**nager **is also responsible for providing governance of strategic programs to ensure projects are kept on schedule, on budget and are achieving stated objectives. This position requires a combination of strong advisory, in-depth business and excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to manage project roadmaps and coordinate with multiple stakeholders, at an executive level.

- Facilitates senior leaders through strategy formulation, initiative road mapping and business model design.
- Leads the definition and implementation of the business strategy governance model.
- Defines implementation strategies, associated resource requirements, costs and areas of uncertainty and high risk.
- Actively participates in implementation projects with a primary focus on business objectives and benefits being met, and the successful rollout of change.

**Business Design**
- Plans and leads the collection of high-level business requirements.
- Assesses the high-level impact of business change on operations.
- Plans and leads analysis required to support business model and business case development.
- Identifies business model options including the assessment of cost-benefit, implementation and capacity considerations and risks.
- Identifies assumptions requiring validation, plans and executes the tests needed to validate the business design, and assesses learnings.

- Responsible for coordinating and supporting the efforts of various business leads responsible for programs of work.
- Ensures a standardized and cohesive approach is used to align all strategy programs to drive efficiencies and assist in prioritization of resources across different programs.
- Coordinates complex programs, leads processes to map, define and sequence dependent projects, resources and critical pathways.

- Minimum 8 years’ experience working for medium to large enterprises with complex business and technology environments as a Management Consultant, Senior Business Analyst, Program/Project Manager and/or as a leader in one of the following types of businesses - consumer or business-to-business retail or services, supply chain planning or operations.

- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and programs: through management of roadmaps, project plans, driving accountability across key deliverables and effectively managing change.
- Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and effectively facilitate discussions with executives and senior operational leaders from initial problem identification to decision making.
- Demonstrated ability to bring clarity to complex problems using a variety of facilitation techniques and data analyses.
- Well versed in leveraging a broad range of strategic planning and business modelling toolkits.
- Demonstrated ability to advocate, propose, negotiate, document and present approaches and solutions.
- Skilled at communicating and collaborating across all levels of the organization, including executive, senior business, and technology leaders.
- Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions.
- Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
- Knowledge, understanding and previous practical implementation of Agile methodology and Scrum principles.

**Education**
- Post-secondary degree in business or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- PMP (Program Management Professional) certification or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Strong preference for this role to be based in our Vernon, BC head office but remote work with frequent travel to Vernon is negotiable.
