We are looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join our Conuvo Construction Materials team in Port Coquitlam, BC. The Shipper/Receiver position is primarily responsible for loading an unloading of materials within the warehouse and operating a forklift.

**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in all pre-shift safety tool box talks, site document assessments, monthly safety walks.
- Load and unload, in bound and out bound shipments, forklift operations.
- Move products and materials by hand or using material handling equipment, forklift, pallet jack.
- Load product in a manner that facilitates safe loading/unloading and prevents damage and/or shifting during transport
- Develop a basic understanding of a broad range of materials and products.
- Schedule all inbound and outbound freight; maintain branch freight log and complete all necessary freight bills of lading.
- Validate all sales orders/picking list by ensuring piece count, site addresses (shipping labels), package counts are accurate on all shipping documents.
- Receive new materials and verify shipment/packing slip accuracy. Complete receiving reports.
- Note any visual non-conformances and identify these to your supervisor for all in bound and out bound transactions; this must be done prior to shipping any order out and prior to physically placing any inventory into stock.
- Assist in weekly inventory cycle counts.
- Count inventory levels and advise of shortages.
- General yard and warehouse cleanup.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid driver’s license
- General warehouse experience
- Forklift operating experience

**Hours of Work**:
Regular work week will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Shift schedules will or could possibly be adjusted during summer season.
