Merchandise Seller

The Saskatoon Prairieland Park Corporation requires casual Merchandise Sellers for SaskTel Centre events. Prairieland Park provides casual staff for merchandising at SaskTel Centre.

The work schedule will vary from week to week, based on events scheduled at SaskTel Centre, requiring merchandise sales. Other opportunities to also work in other departments within SaskTel Centre and/or Prairieland events are available.

**Duties**:

- Help count-in and count-out all merchandise that arrives for the show.
- Ensure all items are correctly labeled and sold as requested by the tour.
- Ensure items are folded carefully and placed into their correct pile.
- On site sales of merchandise, working with till system (cash, debit, and credit card sales).
- Communicating with customers in a loud environment, while maintaining a positive attitude.
- On site event orientation and tour of facility provided.

**Qualifications**:

- Effective communication skills.
- Strong desire to provide exceptional customer service.
- Must be a team player.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with cash and handling large sums of money.
- Able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Able to work daytime, evenings, and weekends, with some overtime opportunities.

Online scheduling system used to schedule all events.
