We are currently recruiting for a Workplace Health & Safety Administrator to support the growth and management of our Workplace Health & Safety program including Occupational Health & Safety, WHMIS, Warehouse and Maintenance safety programs across all terminals and premises. The backdrop is an industry-leading safety culture and highway safety program second to none. This leadership opportunity will provide the unique opportunity to continue to build a world-class program and grow as a safety professional.

Specific Responsibilities include:

- Develop, implement, maintain, and ensure adherence to all safety policy and programs.
- Monitor safety “best practices” and make recommendations on changes, additions, and updates to the workplace health & safety program.
- Support the Workplace Health & Safety Committee(s) and all related activities and outcomes.
- Experience and knowledge of workplace safety and compliance issues as they pertain to road transportation.
- A Degree/Diploma or certification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong MS Office skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Keen attention to detail and established exemplary record keeping skills.
- A high level of initiative and commitment and the desire to continually improve.
- Above average analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent perception and interpretation skills.
- Ability to travel within Canada is required.
