**ROLE**

IHL’s Drivers play an integral part in the transportation of building material supplies and construction products. You will be the face of our company by representing a culture of safety, providing positive customer experience, and developing strong relationships with our customers. Reporting to the Dispatch, the successful incumbent will be responsible for safely and accurately delivering orders to our customers, while adhering to IHL standards and policies.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Operate 24’’ Box Truck and/or Flat Bed to transport building material supplies and construction products to clients.
- Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport products.
- Perform pre-trip, and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment, and accessories such as tires, lights and turning signals and brakes.
- Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting product.
- Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers and customers using communication devices and on-board computers.
- Loading and unloading trucks. Must be comfortable loading and offloading manually.
- Must be comfortable lifting up to 50lbs.
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions, troubleshoot equipment, and find new routes when needed.

**Requirements**:

- Valid DZ driver’s license.
- Minimum 3+ years driving experience.
- Clean drivers abstract / CVOR.
- Safety oriented
- Moffett Experience required when operating the Flat Bed

**Working Conditions**
- Lifting or moving up to 50lbs may be required.
- Fast-paced environment
- Working indoors/outdoors
- Overtime may be required.

**Salary**: $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 42.5 per week
