- Basic Requirements-
Diploma from a recognized College Course in Cardiology Technology, Electrophysiology or 2 year completion of Respiratory Therapy Course, or similar ECG training within an RN or RPN course;
-Successful completion or eligibility to complete the CSCT, CBRC or CNO registry exam;
-Students currently enrolled in the Electrophysiology or Cardiology Technology diploma may be considered on the premise that they successfully complete the diploma and CSCT exam within 1 year of hiring date;
-Current CPR certification;
-Good interpersonal skills;
-Sound judgement, sound problem solving skills & initiative
-Eligible to work in Canada.
- Preferred Qualifications-
Membership with the Ontario Society of Cardiology Technologists;
-Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
