Foundry Workers Metal Products Manufacturing

Foundry workers (coremaking & royer) make foundry moulds and cores. Cores are produced by blowing, ramming or in heated processes, investing sand into a core box. The finished cores, which can be solid or hollow, are inserted into the mould to provide the internal cavities of the casting before the mould halves are joined. Sand cores are also widely used in die-casting, where permanent metal moulds are employed.

Metal manufacturing workers (grinding and filing) help perform finishing tasks to castings such as filing down spikes, inspecting machinery, painting, tumbling, grinder work, inspect castings for visual defects, etc.

**Experience / Knowledge**:

- Minimum 7 months of relevant experience

**Salary**: From $18.15 - $21.25 per hour depending on role
