Teachers are responsible for creating lesson plans, conducting classroom activities and maintaining high standards of care. Qualifications:
Infant/Toddler license to practice in BC

4-5 year experience is a minimum requirement

First-Aid

Criminal Record Check

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up daily activities in the classroom based on children's interest
- Guide groups of children on a journey of knowledge, developing them into well-rounded individuals.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the student's needs and capabilities.
- Provide developmentally appropriate curriculum.
- Positive guidance techniques
- Provide snacks and lunches
- Daily communications with families
- Daily house keeping duties
- Safe and ongoing supervision of children inside and outside the classrooms
- Documenting children's learning by creating documentation panels within a month of children's engagement.
- Creating relationships with children and responding to children's ques
- Yearly parent-teacher conferences
- Rotational shift
- Preparing morning and afternoon snack in accordance with the monthly menu.
- Washing and sanitizing daily furniture and materials that belong to the center.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
