Faculty Appointment Types Part-time Job Summary

The School of Access and Continuing Education requires a part-time instructor to teach in the Bookkeeping Certificate Program including Fundamentals, Intermediate, and Advanced Bookkeeping, Excel for Bookkeepers, Computerized Bookkeeping Level 1 & 2, and Payroll.

You will be part of a team contributing to and promoting the vision, mission, and goals of the College and supporting the aspirations and needs of our learners and communities.

Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the bookkeeping and/or accounting fields
- CPA Designation
- Provincial Instructor Diploma and teaching experience is preferred
- Advanced technology skills in working in MS 365 Teams, Outlook, Zoom, Sage 50, and Quickbooks
- Good time management and communication skills
- Competency with supporting computer-based courses & using various technology, and learning management systems
- Strong grammatical skills

You will promote a positive work atmosphere and communicate in a professional manner that demonstrates mutual respect with students and colleagues.

You will be part of a team actively engaged in contributing to and accomplishing the vision, mission, and goals of the College and in supporting the aspirations and needs of our learners and communities.

Hiring criteria shall include professional qualifications, professional experience, teaching experience, college contributions, community awareness and personal attributes so far as they are applicable to the job classification in question.
