Due to overflow of work, We are looking for a mature business mind who has between 5-6 years of tattooing experience and is willing to perform any tattoo task given. If you are interested in having a family away from your family, a support team that is always there for you, this is the place to be. If you are looking for a place to just work, go home and not be part of the team, then this is not the place for you.
We have 5 resident artists on staff, 3 of which have been in the industry for over 10 years and are all a wealth of knowledge. We are in the business of performing great tattoos on our amazing clients all the while making sure your bills are paid. We pride ourselves in dealing with even the all clientele and providing the best service imaginable on every level, from dealing with the customer initially at the consult, to design changes, to performing the actual tattoo and all while being a kind, warm person is what we feel separates us from the rest of the pack.
The studio is 3500 square feet finished in a modern look, kept clean and crisp at all times. Every artist has their own booth that they are required to maintain, as cleanliness is a huge part of the Dreamworx brand. Each booth has drop down blinds and front drapes to provide the most private of experiences when needed. We encourage all the artists to make their space feel like a piece of them, so artwork and other little things that make the client feel like they know you is always wanted.
We also have a team outside of the artists like the front counter staff that handle all booking’s, reschedules cash outs and more. We also have an apprentice right now who does all the setups and tear downs for the all the artists and we are looking through all our inquiries for another one to be a perfect fit.
What will be asked of you:
To be a kind team mate that can work well with others.
To have the ability of performing any and all styles other then portraiture (mostly mid-sized black and grey pieces or some small tattoos if needed).
To have a strong work ethic and being able to work Tuesday to Saturday 10:30am - 7:30pm.
The ability to be patient and kind even when the client is making it hard to do so.
To create custom art pieces or to be able to work within the parameters of a clients requests.
And of coarse to have a strong ability in performing the actual tattoos, quality is key.
Overall we are looking for someone that has the same vision that we do, people that know that this is a job and there will be tattoos you don’t like doing but those are work days and the tattoos that are fun, exciting and make you love your job, we call those fun days. Every job has them and we know that above all else it is a privilege to work here. You will never be starving for work, you will always be booked and you will always make money as we have been around for 15 years and are one of the staple and original tattoo shops in Vaughan.
**Salary**: $85,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
