**Job Description**:
Providing engaging, sincere, heartwarming and personalized service is one of the ways our Colleagues are defined at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Be an ambassador for your hotel and our exceptional guest experience as, where your warm greeting and intuitive service will let our guests know - they have arrived
- Be an Ambassador to the hotel creating memorable experiences for our guests
- Provide warm, sincere and engaging service that ensures guests feel welcome
- Treat each and every guest as a unique individual.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance.
- Provide courteous and professional services at all times
- Maintain positive working relations with colleagues and all hotel departments
- Be a liaison with the Front Office, Executive Office and Fairmont Gold to ensure a smooth arrival and farewell experience with VIP guests
- Gain working knowledge of all areas of the Front Office allowing you to assist them during “crunch” periods.
- Provide a positive and welcoming presence in the resort lobby for our hotel guests.
- Meet and greet coaches full of guests on arrival
- Be a host in our exclusive guest lounge, The Living Room
- Know the unique and storied past of the hotel as well as the area and potentially facilitate presentations to our guests on the same
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives
- Adhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiatives
- Carry out any other tasks as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Previous guest service experience required
- Must possess a professional presentation
- Must possess outstanding guest services skills and sophisticated verbal communication skills
- Self‑motivated, with the ability to make effective decisions
- Demonstrates initiative, and the ability to multitask and work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to maintain high service levels under pressure
- Physically fit to lift trays repeatedly, stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to consistently stand and walk through out shift
