Canine Handler

4PAWSHFX is looking for a full-time experienced and motivated individual to execute the wilderness pack walk program. The qualified individual has a love of dogs and is able to build a connection with dogs that promotes mutual respect, affection and most of all TRUST.

Responsibilities: the day-to-day activities may include pick up and drop off of client pets; execution of off-leash pack-walks on one of our many wilderness park walk locations; canine handling at the daycare and dog boarding facility.

Qualifications: the successful applicant will need a valid drivers license with a clean driving record. A company vehicle is provided during work-hours. Some experience with dogs and the ability to build a respectful relationship with animals is a requirement. The applicant will receive training and will be encouraged to pursue certification courses.

This is an entry level position, with room for advancement in the coming year towards a management position. A benefits package is available upon successful completion of a 6 month probation period. Criminal record check and vulnerable sector search are required as well.

**Salary**: $15.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
