Que c’est comparable à être propriétaire d’un immeuble d’appartements. C'est à dire que vous pourriez faire face à plusieurs situations en même temps:

- Un locataire vous informe que l'eau chaude ne fonctionne plus
- Un entrepreneur vous annonce que la fuite d'eau vient du toit et que vous devrez refaire la couverture
- Plusieurs résidents vous ont dit qu'ils aimeraient beaucoup que vous installiez un ascenseur dans l'immeuble

En tant que propriétaire de cet immeuble, vous pourriez avoir certaines contraintes:

- Monétaire : avons-nous suffisamment de fond pour régler tous ces problèmes en même temps ?
- Temps : avons-nous le temps pour gérer tous ces problèmes en même temps ?
- Ressources : est-ce que les gens ayant l’expertise pour régler le problème sont disponibles immédiatement ?
- Impact : est-ce que de retarder la réparation pourrait engendrer des problèmes encore plus grave et couteux ?

Ces contraintes feront en sorte que vous devrez prioriser ces demandes et aviser chaque personne de l’état de celle-ci. Une bonne gestion et priorisation fera toute la différence entre un immeuble rentable avec des locataires satisfaits et le contraire.

Sous le même principe, en tant que product owner RSA, vous recevrez les demandes des gestionnaires de l’assistance routière, du réseau, de la facturation, des réclamations, de l’expérience client, etc. Votre rôle sera de collaborer avec les gestionnaires opérationnels pour prioriser ces demandes puis d’assurer un suivi avec l’équipe TI en suivant la méthode Agile.

En tant que product owner RSA, votre quotidien ressemblera à cela:

- Recevoir les demandes (bugs et projets) et s’assurer qu’elles contiennent toutes les informations pertinentes
- Évaluer l’impact de chaque demande et établir des priorités en favorisant un consensus sur la valeur de chaque auprès des différentes parties prenantes
- Créer ces demandes sous forme de « user story » dans le logiciel Azure DevOps
- Faire des suivis aux opérations pour répondre aux questions des développeurs sur les demandes (user story)
- Informer les opérations lorsqu’une demande est traitée pour qu’ils confirment la résolution de la demande
- Participer aux rencontres journalières de l’équipe TI (Daily Stand Up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospective)
- Tenir des rencontres aux deux semaines avec les gestionnaires des opérations afin de discuter de la priorité de leurs demandes
- Tenir à jour le rapport des demandes des opérations
- Documenter certains processus pour faciliter la compréhension des parties prenantes
