Communications and Digital Marketing Intern

Landscape Ontario is a non-profit trade association, dedicated to serving our members in the landscape and horticulture industry. Our small but mighty communications team is currently seeking a communications and digital marketing intern, who will play an essential role as we kick off a new five year strategic plan and launch our new website and digital marketing platform this fall.

**About you**:
You should be an excellent writer and ideally have experience creating social media content. It would be great if you had experience with digital marketing platforms and tools below, but even more importantly, we are looking for an individual who demonstrates curiosity, creativity, compassion and a desire to build community through communications. Bonus points if you have a passion for gardening, the environment and the outdoors.

**Must-have skills**:

- Strong writing and editing skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of digital and social media marketing best practices
- Organized and able to work independently as well as as part of a team

**Nice to have skills**:
Experience working with some or all of the following platforms:

- Google suite
- Wordpress
- Hubspot
- Mailchimp
- Google analytics/ GA4
- Hootsuite
- Photoshop, Canva
