**Senior Metal Roofing Estimator / Inside Sales**
(Please note: We are not hiring individuals living outside the country of Canada for this position.)

Steel Tile Co., is located in Innisfil, Ontario and we are seeking a self-motivated, senior estimator/inside salesperson with strong communication, organizational and excellent time management skills, along with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment.

The role of the Estimator/Inside Sales will be to assemble accurate and well-organized timely estimates and proposals as supplied by client drawings, or by direct head office walk-in retail sales. Also, to assist clients with various metal roofing options, trims and possible problem solving solutions to their residential, commercial and agricultural building projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide product information, installation techniques and pricing to current contractors or retail customers.
- Confirm all technical information and do take-offs.
- Update or implement digital estimating software solutions.
- Maintain software and train other sales staff as required.
- Full knowledge of existing roofing trims and accessories required for various projects.
- Support sales teams with retail purchases and detailed information.
- Support operations, production and shipping with updated information or changes.
- Provide a high level of service to existing contractors and new customers.
- Attend production and office management meeting as required.
- Collaborate with production managers on time sensitive and ongoing projects.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Strong mathematical skills/use of Pythagorean theorem.
- Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to interpret building drawings and create detailed material quotes.
- Strong understanding of roofing terminology and building industry terms.
- Strong understanding of metal roofing trims and required procedures.
- Must be organized, proactive and self-motivated.
- Provide excellent customer service with clear communication skills.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills and maintain positive company image.
- Enjoy customer interaction and share product information.
- Understand the value of high end metal roofing products related to price point.

**Experience**:

- 3-5 years construction estimating, preferably in the metal/roofing industry.

**Job Type**:Full-time, permanent, in-house, desk/counter.
