**Our Team**:
The Maintenance team in Sudbury, Ontario is a multi-disciplinary, well-rounded team who are responsible for the maintenance execution of conditional, corrective, and emergency work. Our number one priority is the health and safety of our operators and maintainers as well as ensuring our assets run reliably.

**The Opportunity**:
We are currently seeking a **Supervisor, Maintenance Instrumentation **role to join our **Clarabelle Mill, Tailings and Water (MTW) plants **within the Ontario Operations Department. This is a **permanent **position.

The job holder will continuously improve the work team (crew) performance through the effective use of established processes and procedures. In this role, as a Supervisor, Maintenance Instrumentation you will be accountable for leading the execution portion of the work of a group of instrumentation workers that support continuous operations of the MTW plants. Working within VPS process has the maintenance supervisor continuously supporting the planning and reliability processes as well as providing relief supervision for the electrical crew as required.

Additionally, in this position you will:

- Work Monday to Friday, 8 hours day shift.
- Adhere to the (3) VPS dimensions - Leadership, Technical, and Method.
- Lead crew members towards adhering to all safety, training, and legislated requirements.
- Adhere to maintenance business processes as outlined in VPS by using approved systems (SAP, Prometheus, Incident Management (IRIS), eMOC, PHRs, JHAs.), tools and standards.
- Establish and maintain work relationships with the various key plant stakeholders including supervisors, schedulers, superintendents, crew members, etc.
- Ensure WO user statuses are properly maintained throughout the lifecycle of the work order.
- Work within assigned budgets and escalate to management should a budget be exceeded.
- Identify and escalate all critical issues that threaten the successful execution of work orders for completion by their Required End Date.
- Manage backlog to ensure work orders are planned based on priority and required end date.
- Communicate and coordinate with procurement partners to ensure requisitioned items arrive as scheduled.
- Create and update task lists to capture routine work and efficiencies.
- Monitor KPIs and actively strive toward plant targets.
- Relief supervisors in related field (electrical) as necessary, which requires:

- Holding the crew accountable for safe behavior, housekeeping, teamwork and professionalism.
- Ensure planned work orders are closed with proper time confirmations completed.
- Work within budget, guidelines, and standards.
- Work with the crew to develop an interactive workplace environment.

**About You**

**Education**:

- College diploma or university degree in a related industrial field or a university degree in a related engineering discipline.
- Valid industrial trade certificate for the province of Ontario.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the instrumentation trade.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience leading crews.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working within SAP & VPS processes.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products.

**Skills**:

- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and work well with others in a team environment.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Must be obsessed with safety and risk.
- Demonstrate open and transparent dialogue in all aspects of work.
