**Responsibilities**:

- Operate tower crane to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
- Clean and maintain crane and hoisting mechanism
- Inspect crane for defects and notify the maintenance team of any issues
- Read and interpret load charts for lifting equipment
- Work with ground signals and communicate effectively with the team
- Ensure safety compliance with all trades and the public
- Keep records of lifts and ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations

**Qualifications**:

- Valid crane operator certificate required (BC certification preferred)
- Proven experience in operating tower cranes
- Knowledge of crane inspection and maintenance
- Strong understanding of all aspects of crane operation and ground management
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent
