Warehouse & Yard Attendant

**Job Purpose**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks
- Deliver and pick up orders as needed
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of yard and workspaces
- Ensure workspace is free of safety hazards
- Work as an active team member to complete team goals
- Self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision safely
- Enjoy having different challenges and tasks everyday
- Operate a variety of equipment e.g., forklifts, skid steers
- Ensure that all required paperwork is completed, Bill of lading, FLHA etc.
- Being a team player, helping other departments as needed
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- 2-3 years Industrial warehouse experiences, and forklift certified is preferred
- Able to pass drug test/background check
- Must have Valid class 5 driver’s license or higher
- Must have experience towing trailers
- Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, lift, walk and climb through the shift
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently
- Follow all health and safety procedures and regulations as required by the company and the province

**Working Conditions**
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Inside/outside temperatures fluctuate so appropriate layered outerwear should be considered when preparing for activity throughout the property, depending on the season
- Travel may be necessary. Overtime and weekends may be required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

- Clairmont, AB T8X 5B1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- warehouse: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver's Lisence (required)
