Acheson, Canada TSI Insulation Ltd. Full time

**TSI Insulation Ltd**. requires full-time Insulators (1st year to Journeyman) for in/out of town work. Current projects include a module yard in Edmonton and several out-of-town jobs sites. LOA is paid for all out of town work and transportation is provided from Edmonton to work sites using TSI crew trucks. Wages range from $20 to $40 per hour, depending on experience. Shift work required.
- **Insulators Primary Duties and Responsibilities (depending on experience)**:_

**Insulating Tanks and Vessels**:Reading blue prints and insulation specifications to determine the procedure and material required.
Using both power and hand tools to cut and prepare panels for installation.
Insulating tanks using both traditional and standing seam methods.
Being able to install a wide variety of flashing on tanks to ensure proper watershed techniques.
Being able to construct custom flashing in areas where common flashing cannot be used.
Being able to use urethane panels, mineral wool or fiberglass insulation to insulate tanks.
Being able to construct pie shaped panels or roof peels to fit any size or shape tank or vessel.
Using man lifts and crane operated man baskets to reach high areas on tanks.
Being able to work with aluminum, stainless steel or painted steel cladding.

**Insulating Piping**:Reading blue prints and insulation specifications to determine the type of material and thickness of material to be used.
Being able to layout patterns for complex piping configurations (Equal tees, lateral tees, end caps, bevels, unequal tees, gores for large bore elbows, pan-outs, stove pipe elbows, ducting and many more)
Being able to make precise cut-outs in order to minimize the use of caulking and to prevent water protrusion.
Being able to use calcium silicate, mineral wool, foam glass, fiber glass, MPT, urethane and aerogel to insulate piping.
Being able to insulate and clad flanges, valves and other equipment.
Having and being able to use all necessary piping tools (banders, dividers, combination machine, beader and crimper, 3-foot metal roller and hand breaks).
Being able to work under high pressure in uncomfortable environments (H2S live areas, confined space areas and areas well about 60 feet above ground).

Tickets required: - CSTS 09 or CSTS 2020 (mandatory)
- Whimis 2015 (mandatory)
- ESC Fall Protection (mandatory)
- First Aid (preferred)
- ESC Manlift (preferred)
- H2S Alive (Mandatory for out of town)
