**YOUR ROLE**

Do you have the eye of a bold eagle, the concentration of a hunting lioness, the social skills to work and communicate with a team? Well, you may be the Shunt Driver we are looking for. Your mission will be to operates vehicles to transport cargo to and from specific locations in a safe and efficient manner, following all CEVA safety rules and in accordance with State and Federal laws and DOT regulations. Assists in the manual loading and unloading of assigned truck with use of a dolly. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

**WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?**
- Operate vehicle to transport materials to and from specified destinations in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with State and Federal DOT regulations.
- Responsible for the protection of company equipment and freight from damage, theft or tampering.
- Load freight onto the truck using a forklift and pallet jack, and utilize load locks, straps, covers, etc. to ensure that freight will be delivered in good condition at final destination.
- Unload freight from truck utilizing proper equipment and securing for transit when necessary.
- Check cargo and unit to ensure it is properly secured and safe.
- Verify that cargo is correct and in good condition.
- Check delivery documentation for accuracy.
- Promptly report all delays due to weather conditions, breakdowns, accidents or any other types of emergencies.
- Report immediately any irregularities related to the pick-up and/or delivery of the cargo (i.e. damage, shortage, customer complaints, customer requests)
- Assist in warehouse if driving is not required or between runs.
- Comply with all Transportation Security Administration security requirements.
- Develop and maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
- Acts as a messenger for the company.
- Adhere to all Company policies and procedures related to drivers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- Ability to analyze moderately complex administrative details and routine accounting tasks including organizing, preparing and coding documents and preparing summary reconciliations.
- Ability to respond promptly and professionally to customer needs and solicit customer feedback to improve performance.
- Manages complex transactional or emotional customer situations promptly and professionally meeting commitments for service and assistance.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with groups of customers or employees and recommends solutions to common problems.
- Manage operational AP SOA for carriers and other ocean related payables to ensure that they are correctly accrued, processed for Infosys and disputed as needed.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents.
- Ability to read and understand traffic signals and signs. Ability to read and interpret maps.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- Ability to operate a dolly, forklift, hand truck, lift gate and pallet jack.
- Capable of communicating and interacting effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds and effectively presenting information in one on one or in small group situations.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities. Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs. Consistently at work and on time.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Minimum:

- High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 3 years industry driving experience may be substituted for a high school diploma or GED.
- Minimum six months related experience.
- Valid state issued Class C Driver's License issued by the driver's home state of residence.
- Acceptable driving record as defined by local regulations and Company policy.
- Forklift Driver Certification. DOT Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Materials Certification. Must be bondable.
