**Job Title**: Machine Operator

**Location**: Mississauga

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Machine Operation**: Set up, operate, and monitor machinery to ensure proper function and meet production targets. Machines may include CNC machines, injection molding, assembly machines, or other specialized equipment.
- **Quality Control**: Inspect products during and after production for defects, quality, and specifications, using measuring tools as needed. Ensure compliance with quality standards and work with the quality control team to address any issues.
- **Maintenance & Troubleshooting**: Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they are in optimal working condition. Identify and troubleshoot mechanical problems, make necessary adjustments, and report any significant issues to the supervisor.
- **Safety & Compliance**: Follow all company safety procedures and industry regulations. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- **Documentation & Reporting**: Accurately record production data, maintenance logs, and quality checks. Report any discrepancies, malfunctions, or maintenance needs to the supervisor in a timely manner.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other machine operators, production staff, and supervisors to meet production goals, improve processes, and resolve any issues that may arise during production.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Suggest improvements in machine operation, efficiency, and safety protocols. Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of machinery and manufacturing processes.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification in manufacturing, machinery, or a related field is a plus.
- **Experience**: Minimum of [3 to 5] years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment. Experience with [specific machines or equipment] preferred.

**Skills**:

- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Proficient in using hand tools and precision measuring instruments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to stand for long periods, and work in a physically demanding environment. Comfortable working with machinery and in varying temperatures.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
